Decks
A deck is a collection of cards on a related topic. Decks are the unit that you study from, and most of the app’s per-collection settings live at the deck level.
This page is still being written. The outline below shows what’s planned — the full content will land in an upcoming Help update.
This section will cover:
- Creating a new deck — from the deck browser, into a folder, naming.
- Renaming and duplicating — editing the name; duplicating to make a variant.
- Moving and organizing — moving decks between folders, into and out of Trash.
- Deleting decks — Move to Trash vs. permanent delete; recovery from Trash.
- Deck preferences (per-deck settings) — every setting that applies to a single deck:
- Daily queue size — target number of cards per day (default 50).
- Daily queue adjustment — bump today’s queue up or down without changing the default.
- MathJax support — toggle math notation rendering for this deck’s cards.
- Simple cloze support — toggle
[...]cloze-deletion syntax for this deck. - Default text style — how card text is rendered by default.
- Show dot when due — whether this deck shows a due-cards indicator in the browser.
- Sharing & exporting a deck — if/when exporting is exposed to users (placeholder; confirm current scope).
- Copying a deck’s ID — for use with URL schemes, Shortcuts, and integrations.
